It's finally April, and other than the promise of spring and May flowers, it's officially the beginning of festival season in our books. Beyond listening to your favorite band and dancing with thousands of sweaty strangers, festival season is exciting because it's a great time to find some cool new threads and experiment with new hairstyles.
Here's a list of the music festivals we're most excited for, we'll even be attending a few of them so keep your eye out for Verb! (Coming soon a festival inspired #hairgoals post)
Where: Indio, California
When: Two weekends, April 15-17 and 22-24
Who are we excited about: LCD Soundsystem (duh, reunion) Ellie Goulding (queen of amazing hair and tunes) CHVRCHES, Halsey, the dreamy vibes of Beach House, Purity Ring, Grimes... the list really goes on and on
Where: Atlanta, Georgia
When: May 20-22
Who are we excited about: Danish indie pop princess MØ, ODESZA, Jai Wolf... just take a look at the lineup below

Where: Gulf Shores, Alabama (music festival and a trip to the beach? Yes please!)
When: May 20-22
Who we're excited to see: So many absolute greats on this list... We'll be swooning over the beautiful Calvin Harris, the amazing vocal range of Alabama Shakes frontrunner Brittany Howard, the amazing hair of The Weeknd... you get it...
Where: Randall's Island, New York
When: June 3-5
We'll be there and checking out: The Strokes, KANYEEEEEEE, Haim (why do they all have such perfect effortless hair?), our favorite high school throwback Death Cab, Austin native Gary Clark Jr., so many.. Also make sure to check out Marian Hill, we were able to catch her at an event we sponsored and she was amazing!
Where: Manchester, Tennessee
When: June 9-12
We'll be staying out of the heat, but you should be excited about: If you missed the other festivals there will be a lot of repeats at Bonnaroo like Ellie Goulding, Death Cab, LCD Soundsystem... make sure to catch Misterwives, we got a chance to do their hair last year and they were amazing at Austin City Limits in 2015
Where: Grant Park in Chicago
When: July 28-31
We're excited to see: This lineup looks absolutely amazing we can't pick even a few although we are overjoyed enough to shoutout that fellow Texan Leon Bridges will be there
Where: Golden Gate Park, San Francisco
When: August 5-7
Who? Well we're not quite sure yet because lineup is TBD but our best bet is that a lot of the artists on the festival scene this year will make an appearance here as well!
Where: Our hometown Austin, Texas
When: Two weekends, September 30- Oct. 2 and October 7-9
Lineup to be announced soon but we're just excited that we will be attending so look out for Verb and maybe we'll be lucky enough to do your hair!
Where: New Orleans, Louisiana
When: October 28-30
Lineup TBD but who doesn't want another reason to get to New Orleans and enjoy concerts in the perfect fall weather?!
