Is this product talc (talcum powder) free?
It sure is! Instead of using talc, a known carcinogen that's commonly included in dry shampoos, we use tapioca powder to gently remove impurities and cleanse each strand.

Does this product leave a whitecast?
Nope (as long as you apply correctly)! Please make sure to read the instructions for a seamless, whitecast-free application.

I need a little help applying this, can you give me a step-by-step?
Surely! Start by parting your hair into sections. With the cap off and your finger over the nozzle, tip the bottle sideways slightly (doing so will push product to the tip of the bottle and make it easier to apply). With the bottle in an upright position, remove your finger and *gently* squeeze the bottle to puff the powder along your pre-made sections. Allow the formula to sit on your hair for up to 2 minutes. Feel free to massage your scalp to create some light volume while you're waiting (feels good, too). Brush your hair until powder is evenly distributed and ultimately disappears. If you're having some trouble applying straight from the nozzle, feel free to put the powder onto a makeup brush or your fingers and apply it directly onto your pre-made sections. That should do the trick!

Whats the difference between this product and your dry shampoo sprays?
The original Dry Shampoo is great if you're going for a precise, targeted clean and have a little bit of time on your hands to do so. Dry Shampoo Light and Dry Shampoo Dark are perfect for a quick and easy clean when you're crunched for time — you spray, you massage, you go. The original Dry Shampoo is also great for traveling and adding a boost of natural volume, whereas the dry shampoo sprays add softer volume and are not carry-on friendly.
