Fight Frizz with These 3 Tips

It’s time to talk about the F-word. Frizz. Have you ever felt like Anne Hathaway’s character in The Princess Diaries… before she gets the makeover? Frizz can leave us feeling frustrated, frazzled and poufy. But it doesn’t have to. Here are three key tips for fighting frizz that will leave you with the princess hair you deserve.

1. Choose a shampoo that is sulfate-free.

You might not pay attention to the ingredients on your shampoo bottle, but you should. If your hair is dry and prone to frizz, sulfates can suck up moisture from your already parched strands. Stick with shampoos that avoid these detergents (fun fact: all Verb products are free of harmful sulfates, parabens and gluten).

2. Treat yourself to a hydrating mask once a week.

This trick is sort of like a spa-day for your hair. Use a weekly hair mask to restore moisture to dry, color-treated or over-styled hair. The Verb Hydrating Mask is weightless and designed to nourish all hair types. Babassu oil and glycerin work to add moisture, soften, and pack strands full of vitamins and minerals, leaving hair sleek and frizz free.

3. Protect against heat.

Heat styling is major cause behind damaged, frizzy and unhealthy hair. You wouldn’t forget sunscreen on a hot sunny day, then why would you forget to protect your hair in the same way? Before you reach for your flatiron, curler or blow dryer, be sure to apply a heat protectant to your precious locks. Verb Ghost Prep protects from heat up to 425 degrees and includes nourishing moringa oil to naturally smooth frizz.

There you have it, Ms. Frizzles. Three easy ways to fight the good fight against frizz and ensure your hair is as beautiful as you are.
