Can I use this mask if I am a natural blonde?
Absolutely. This mask is designed to tone yellow hues and reduce unwanted brassiness for any blonde!

How does a purple mask work?
Basic color theory tells us that purple hues cancel out yellow ones because they reside on opposite sides of the color wheel. The same concept applies to the semi-permanent violet pigment in Purple Mask when applied to yellow, brassy hair.
Essentially, Purple Mask deposits a small amount of violet pigment into hair — which counteracts warm, brassy tones to keep blondes bright.

Can I use this mask if I only have highlights?
For sure. In fact, a purple mask will also help minimize brassiness and enhance cool tones so you can stretch out the time between color appointments to touch-up blonde, silver or grey highlights.

Will this mask turn my hair purple?
Although Purple Mask contains purple pigment, it does not contain permanent dye or bleach so it will not lift/change the color of your hair completely. However, if the mask is left on for an extended period of time, it may result in a lavender tint. If this occurs, just wash out your hair with any of our shampoos.

How often should I use this mask?
We would suggest using it once a week (or whenever you're getting a little brassy) to keep your blonde looking fresh and vibrant.
