Lost hair and irritated my scalp

"I wanted to pass along my experience with one of your products I received in a mystery boxfrom verb. com. When I washed (with Verb Ghost shampoo) out the Verb exfoliator as instructed, my scalped burned and large chunks of hair came out with it. It took 3 days for the pain to leave my scalp. And while I normally do loose some hair in each shampooing, this was almost 10x as much as I typically lose. I’m very disappointed with the product, but more importantly concerned for others who may experience the same thing."

Crazy question, or maybe I just have crazy hair. I love the Ghost Exfoliating Scalp Nectar. Makes my hair feel look/feel great. I don't use much, but it seems to accentuate my waves. Do I need to wash it out??? I understand the instructions say to leave on 10 minutes, then wash... But when I use it, my hair looks so good, I wait until the next day to wash.
